    On Saturday, July 6, 2024, at approximately 10:30 P.M., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 200 Blk of N. Texana St. The driver resisted arrest, resulting in an altercation where one of our officers was assaulted. The driver attempted to flee the scene on foot before ultimately being tased and subdued without further incident.

    The individual has been charged with:

    - Evading on foot

    - Resisting arrest

    - Assault on a peace officer

    - Possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) in a drug-free zoneat a cost of $28,495.
