Shiner Junior Livestock Show next Saturday

    Next Saturday, November 23, the Shiner Junior Livestock Show will be holding its 12th annual Livestock Show at the Arthur Kaspar Pavilion. 39 exhibitors will be showing steers, swine, lambs, goats, rabbits, and broilers. 
    The day will kick off at 7 a.m.with check-in of all animals. The show begins at 9 am and will continue until all divisions are completed.  
    The Shiner Knights of Columbus will be on hand during the show and will be selling BBQ sandwiches and soft drinks. A meal for all buyers will be offered at 5 p.m. at the Arthur Kaspar Pavilion, and buyers can contribute to exhibitors and their exhibits during this meal, which ends at 7 p.m.  
    Following the meal, each exhibitor will be able to walk their animal through the ring one more time as their buyers are recognized publicly for their donations.   
    The Shiner Junior Livestock show is a non-terminal show, and all exhibitors retain their projects.  
    The Shiner Junior Livestock Show is recognized by the IRS as a non-profit organization, and donations are tax deductible in accordance with the Internal Revenue Code.
