Where the wildlife truly is...wild!
Cub Scouts of Pack 223 from Hallettsville recently camped out at Brazos Bend State Park near Needville.
The park is known for its alligators and did not disappoint.
Scouts counted more than 40 gators on our two mile hike around Elm lake.
In addition to gators, the boys had an opportunity to view several live native snakes, both venomous and non-venomous, in the park’s Nature Center.
