Loraine Riedle Monse

Loraine Riedle Monse, 96, passed away June 23. She was born Sept. 9, 1925 in Yoakum to the late Edward and Hilda (Schmidt) Riedle.

She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was married to Norman Monse for 73 years until his passing in 2020.

Survivors include her daughters, Junie Von Haefen and husband Edwin of Yoakum, Carla Rab and husband Kenneth of Yoakum, and Laurie Molnoskey and husband Michael of Victoria; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Norman Monse; two sisters, Sally Brunkenhofer and Inez Riedle.

A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. June 25 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. June 26 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Heinold officiating. A burial will follow at Hermann Sons Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of South Texas.
