Moulton boys basketball: Katz turn away Brahmas 48-39
The Bobkatz staged a second-half comeback by outscoring visiting Hallettsivlle 33-22 Dec. 10 at home.
The teams were knotted at 6-6 after the first quarter and an 11-9 run gave Hallettsville a 17-15 halftime advantage.
Moulton went up 35-34 after the third period and held on with a 13-5 fourth-quarter run.
Landon Chaloupka was the game’s and Moulton’s top scorer with 14 points and a triple; Seth Beyer hit three tres and had 11 points; Jaxon Barton contributed 11 points.
Jorian Wilson scored a dozen to lead Hallettsville.
