Moulton cross country: Kats win race at Shiner meet, girls come in third


The Moulton cross-country team ran in the Shiner meet on Saturday with both varsities get high- team finishes.
Varsity Girls (2 miles)
The Kittens had 51 points to get third in the 1A-2A girls division.
Karsyn Blahuta was top Kitten with fourth place in 13 mintues, 3.34 seconds.
Katie Mikulencak was No. 11 in 14:17, followed by Mina Tinajero in 14:19.27; Addison Simper finished in 14:147.01 for No. 21; Marisol Manzano was No. 23 in 14:53.82; Addisyn Grieve placed No. 33 in 15:19.95; Katie Richter was No. 38 in 15:36.99; Angeles Juarez crossed the line at 16:29.7 for No. 47; Estrella Perez was No. 50 in 16:39.86.
Varsity Boys (3.1 miles)
The Katz scored 76 points to win the 1A-2A boys varsity with two runners in the top 10..
Top finisher was Brayan Colchado who got fourth in 19:30.11. Bryan Fernandez was eighth in 20:48.16. Judson Anderle was No. 26 in 22:39.71; Travis Haikenwaelder was No. 34 in 23:44.68; Raymond Alvarez was No. 36 in 24:09.38; John Gomez finished in 24:27.58 for No. 39; Andrew Pierce was clocked at 24:47.46 for No. 45.
JH Girls (2 miles)
Ava Olivarez was sixth in 13:37.68.
JH Boys (2 miles)
Hudson Colburn was No. 70 in 14:19.91; Cullen Mikulencak placed No. 80 in 14:44.64.
