Moulton cross country: Kittens, Katz both get third at home meet
Both varsity cross-country teams medaled on the home course Saturday at the Moulton meet at City Park.
Varsity Girls
The Kittens scored 78 points for third in the 1A-2A Varsity Girls.
Karsyn Blahuta was the top finisher with sixth place in 13 minutes, 33.29 seconds and a 6:46 a mile pace. Kate Mikulencak was No. 12 in 14:07.08 (7:03); Mina Tinajero got No. 18 with 14:17.82 (7:08); Addison Simper was No. 32 in 15:05.56 (7:32); Addisyn Grieve was No. 36 in 15:18.3 (7:39); Marisol Manzano was clocked at 15:29.93 (7:44) for No. 41. Katie Richter was No. 43 in 15:41.71 (7:50), Angelas Juarez was No. 49 in 16:32.97 (8:16), followed by Estrella Perez in 16:38.51 (8:19).
Varsity Boys
The Katz got third place with 104 points.
