St. Paul baseball:St. Paul blanks SMA 10-0 in six
The St. Paul Cardinals earned another run-rule victory over San Marcos Academy, dropping the Bears 10-0 in six April 4 at Shiner Starplex.
The Cardinals went up 3-0 in the second frame but did not score again until the sixth where they got in four runs and then scored three in the sixth.
At the plate, Fisher Davis got two hits, triple and double, scored one run and had four RBI.
He started on the mound going four innings, two hits, two walks and seven strikeouts. Zeke Rodriguez pitched two squares in relief with three strikeouts and a save.
Nate Boedeker led the defense with four putouts.
