St. Paul Volleyball:SP gets win at HC tourney

The Lady Cardinals volleyball dropped a three-set match at Flatonia Aug. 16 and played five matches in the San Marcos Hill Country Tournament Aug. 19 and 20, winning one, tying one and losing three.

St. Paul lost in three sets to Flatonia 25-19, 28-26, 25-14. Sam Moeller had two aces.
 Stefany Pokluda added six digs, two aces, one kill; Dallyn Pesek provided 22 assists, one ace; Emily Stamport had one ace, one kill; Riley Mozisek totalled two kills, one ace.
 Faith Machart had seven kills, three blocks; Ashlyn Pesek had six kills.
 Avery Pesek had three kills, three digs; Maurin Knesek had three digs, Tori Walker contributed two kills.
HC Tournament

The Lady Cardinals came up short to Austin Veritas to start the tournament Aug. 19 25-18, 25-17.

St. Paul split the match with SAL 25-19 and 23-25 Aug. 19.
