YHS Lady Bulldog softball All-District Award winners

Several players on the 2024 area-round Yoakum High SChool (YHS) Lady Bulldog Softball Team received 25-3A All-District Awards.

Destiny Rios won First Team Catcher. Olivia Fojt was named Unanimous First Team Infield and Madilynn Steinmann was First Team Outfield.

Hannah Schultz received Second Team P i t c h e r. A d d i s o n Pekar was awarded Second Team Infield. Faith McCloud and Madisen Grant were awarded Second Team Outfield.

Macie Blakeney and Lexi Zaruba each received Honorable Mention.

Destiny Rios, Blakeney, Zaruba, Schultz, Aaliyah Wildrey, Fojt, Teagan Ratley, Devaeh Rios, McCloud, Steinmann, Pekar, Grant, Hanna Garvin, Taylor Velek, and Daphne Oviedo all received Academic All-District.

The YHS Lady Bulldogs’ final 2024 season record was 21- 11-1.
