Boy Scouts of America to change its name to Scouting America

The Associated Press reported over the weekend that The Boy Scouts of America will be changing its name for the first time in its 114-year history.

Cub Scouts of Pack 223 from Hallettsville recently camped out at Brazos Bend State Park near Needville. The park is known for its alligators and did not disappoint. Scouts counted more than 40 gators on our two mile hike around Elm lake.
