Shiner Library reports another great summer reading program

The 2022 Shiner Public Library summer reading program has come to a close. We had an exciting program complete with Monty the Magician, Bonzo Crunch, John O’Bryant and a very interesting science program with Jennifer Rawlings. Many books were read and many interesting and cute crafts were created.
Thank you to our generous donors – Spoetzl Brewery, Nancy Nerada, Splashway Waterpark, First National Bank, SouthStar Bank, Sage Capital Bank, Maeker’s Sausage and Processing: Doug and Melanie Nevlud and Shiner Farmhouse Creamery.
We closed the program with a raffle drawing, presentation of reading certificates and a foam party complete with bottled water, juice, cookies made by Ann Moseley and rice krispie treats compliments of Cynthia Ramirez of Belong.
The library staff would like to thank our many volunteers who helped make this year’s program a successful, smooth and efficient program. We couldn’t have the success we do without all of you!
Thank you to the parents for signing up their children for the program. It was great to see and interact with all of them.
We hope you all will continue to read and have a safe, happy and exciting rest of your summer.
