Shiner girls basketball: Shiner girls escape Bloomington 49-34
Addy Siegel hit three triples and scored a season-high 20 points as Shiner pulled away from Bloomington 49-34 Jan. 23 in Bloomington for the season sweep.
Morgan Lenehan also scored in double digits with 14 points and completed her double double with 16 rebounds.
Khyli Proctor led Bloomington with 12 points.
Shiner managed to gain an early upper hand with a 6-4 lead in the first frame and outscored Bloomington 12-9 in the second quarter.
Shiner then outscored the Lady Cats 31-21 in the second half (18-10, 13-11).
