Yoakum ISD sets tax rate, reviews enrollment

The Yoakum Independent School District (YISD) reviewed enrollment numbers and set the tax rate for the 2026-2027 fiscal year at a special called board meeting which occurred Aug. 31.

The tax rate for this year, which was approved, is 1.07055 per $100 of taxable value. Last year’s tax rate was 1.043850 per $100 of taxable value.
