Hallettsville Municipal Golf Course
When Hallettsville Municipal Golf Course opened, #1 tee was where the maintenance shed is now and it headed north. With this layout, some fairways would have run side by-side. Today, that hole is #6.
The city was given four acres of land, thus creating #1 and #9 fairways. I may be wrong, but I think that land was donated by Phillip Rothschmitt.
