Court approves creation of fourth Lavaca County EMS crew

The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court met in a regular meeting Monday morning and approved the creation of a fourth Lavaca County EMS crew.Lavaca County EMS director Michael Furrh spoke to the court regarding the need for adding fourth crew.

At the Tuesday, March 25 Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court meeting, the court approved a proclamation declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Court holds Tuesday meeting

The regular meeting of the Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court meeting for Monday, March 24 was moved to Tuesday due to a district court trial being held in the district courtroom.
At Monday’s Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court meeting, the court acknowledged Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office employee, Darlene Stacy, who is retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. Stacy was presented the United States flag encased in a wooden frame. The flag had flown over the Lavaca County Courthouse and was folded by Hallettsville Cub Scout Pack 223. Court informed of Lavaca County Day at state Capitol

The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court met in a regular meeting Monday morning and was informed of the upcoming Lavaca County Day at the Capitol.Prior to action agenda items, Lavaca County resident, Paul Yamarick, spoke before the court, regarding the event.
