SCHULENBURG – When a team bats .559 in a game, the outcome is never in doubt. The Sacred Heart Indianettes blasted out 19 hits in the 19-8 victory over Schulenburg Friday. Seven of the hits were for extra bases including a home run by Rylan Dworsky.

Tribe racks up 7th district win in a row

The Sacred Heart Indians made it seven TAPPS District Division IV district wins in a row with a 58-46 beating of St. Paul here Monday night. The Indians led 19-12 at the end of the first quarter after Nic Angerstein scored on two treys and Andrew Steffek hit 9.

2 more district wins for Indians

The Sacred Heart Indians took no prisoners in a 76-31 victory over cedar Park Summit Friday night in a TAPPS District 5, Division IV game. Nic Angerstein scored a game-high 18 points and Sam Bludau and Klayton Chance were also in double figures with 11 and 13 points respectively.

SH in first swim meet

Sacred Heart competed in its first swim meet of the season Saturday, Dec. 15 in El Campo. The Indians and Indianettes both competed against mostly 4A and 5A schools. On the 50-yard freestyle, Annika Brooks was 8th, Karley Kostelnik 15th.

SH In State Cross Country Meet

WACO – The TAPPS State Cross County Meet was held in cold, windy and muddy conditions Monday. The Sacred Heart Indianettes finished 5th and the Indians 9th. Karley Kostelnik had the best finish for the Indianettes and was 37th with a time of 15:26.

SH Takes Over Sole Possession of 1st

The Sacred Heart Gym was rockin’ Thursday night as the Indianettes banished St. Paul 25-16, 25-21, 25-16 to take over sole possession of first place in TAPPS District 5 Division IV. The cream rose to the top with Annika Brooks putting on quite a show for the Indianettes.
