St. Paul football: Bay Area Christian takes advantage of Cardinal turnovers

The St. Paul Cardinals received a small sting from the turnover insect as they lost four in a 20-7 setback at Bay Area Christian on Friday.After a scoreless opening quarter, Bay Area Christian scored on a 29-yard touchdown run by Keaton Hall in the second quarter and the two-point play failed.

The St. Paul Cardinals came close to getting a win in the season opener at Houston KIPP Sunnyside but KIPP scored a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter to win 30-23.The Cardinals opened scoring in the first quarter with a 22-yard touchdown run by Jace Matias for a 7-0 lead.
