Hostyn parish marks anniversary of fire with special mass

HOSTYN – Where Queen of the Holy Rosary Church once stood is now a level dirt field like a clean canvas ready for the brush strokes of an inspired artist. The parish has hired an architect and is in the process of finding a contractor to rebuild.
The Moulton Elementary School recently received the designation as a Healthy South Texas Recognized Campus. The campus was commended at Monday’s Commissioners’ Court meeting. The honor was awarded by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service. Holding the banner presented to the school are from left Moulton Elementary third grade teachers, Tiffany Janak and Anita Drabek along with County Extension agent, Natalie Knesek.
