NRCS to hold Local Working Group meeting March 12

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs), along with other USDA, federal, state and local agencies will hold a Local Working Group (LWG) meeting on Wednesday, March 12.

Be aware of toll scams

Recently, a text scam has been circulating that addresses toll customers in regards to having outstanding and unpaid tolls on their account.The warning comes in the form of a text that impersonates TxTag and claims a balance is due or is late in payment.

Historical marker dedication held

At the February 25th SG&FPL meeting, Lavaca County Historical Commission chairman, Doug Kubicek, dedicated their new historical marker in front of the Game and Fish Building at Green Dickson Park.
