HISD trustees amend budget, OK amendments

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) recently released its annual accountability ratings for districts and schools for 2026 with Hallettsville ISD fairing very well overall.

The TEA accountability ratings displays how the state grades its public schools by rating them on an A to F scale.

Hallettsville ISD students scored an overall rating of 89 which topped last year’s overall score of 83.
