UIL Legislative council approves major changes

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) Legislative Council has approved several proposals that could bring significant changes to Texas high school athletics, including a 35-second shot clock for varsity basketball, a girls flag football pilot program and expanded home-field advantages for higher-seeded teams in postseason competition.
