Kenneth Hauptman

Kenneth James Hauptman was born on April 2, 1947 in Houston. He passed peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family, in the home he built, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He was 78. It’s impossible to briefly sum up a life lived so fully with stories that are vast, numerous, and hilarious.

Wayne Stock

Wayne Anthony Stock entered peacefully into eternal sleep on Thursday, November 27, 2025.  He was born on February 19, 1970 in the Wagner Hospital in Shiner, to Paul E. and Mary Ann (Pustka) Stock. He attended St. Ludmila’s Academy and graduated in 1988 from St. Paul High School.

Ronnie Adamek

Ronald James Adamek, of Yoakum, was born on November 30, 1959, to Gilbert and Agnes (Jemelka) Adamek. He passed away on November 23, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones, after courageously battling complications from a double lung transplant he received in mid-September.

Andrew Schacherl

Andrew Schacherl, 79, of Shiner went to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 6 pm on Friday, November 21 in Shiner Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6 pm Friday, November 21 at Shiner Funeral Home.

Jewell Smith, 68, of Shiner, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 16, 1957 in Beeville, to the late Floyd Smith Sr and Bessie (Dvorak) Smith.
