Indians snap mini losing streak

SHINER GIRLS BASKETBALL ALL DISTRICT

Shiner Lady Comanches freshman Morgan Lenehan was selected as the 28-2A 6th Man to lead the Lady Comanches All-District awards. Senior Isis Robinson and sophomore Rylee Vancura got First Team honors.

Kittens place fifth in Fayetteville Lions meet

Moulton track teams competed in the Fayetteville meet on Thursday. GIRLS The Kittens scored 40 points for fifth place. 100 — 19th, Kylie Castro, 15.65; 24th, Angeles Juarez, 16.85; 25th, Grace Mezik, 17.18. 200 — 2nd, Abby Tinajero, 27.66; 13th, Emily Perry, 30.59; 19th, Castro, 31.71.

The Lunch with the Bulldogs

Lady Brahma pitcher Emily Migl is obviously on a mission. Migl (9-2)pitched a three-hitter and Macie Jansky homered in the Hallettsville Lady Brahmas’ 6-0 win over Industrial in a District 28-AAA game here Friday night.

Lavaca County Youth compete in Houston Livestock Show

Twelve Lavaca County  youth competed in the  Houston Livestock Show  & Rodeo Dairy Judging  contest on Saturday,  March 19. This contest was both  the District 11 Contest  as well as the HLSR  contest.

Eli Fric inks with UMHB

The Shiner Comanches football class of 2022 has another member not put away his shoulder pads, helmet and cleats just yet. Linebacker-tight endrunning back Eli Fric signed to play for the University of Mary Hardin- Baylor last week.

With the District 28- AAA lead on the line, Emily Migl shined brighter than the Saturday afternoon sun in an 11-0, fiveinning win over Columbus at The Softball Field. Migl (8-2) was razor sharp. The senior righthander allowed no hits, struck out eight and faced one batter over the minimum.
