Brahmas let one slip away in loss to Tigers

Hallettsville's chance to post its first 25-AAA victory slipped away in a 42- 39 loss to Tidehaven here Friday.The Brahmas led 33-32 at the beginning of the third period.

Hallettsville got behind early and could never recover is its 56-43 District 25-AAA opening loss to Edna here Friday night.The Cowboys took a 22-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and were up 29-13 at the half.

Brahmas fend off Weimar in 47-43 win

WEIMAR – The Hallettsville Brahmas overcame an eight point halftime deficit and held on at the end to take a 47-43 victory over Weimar Tuesday, Nov. 25 in coach Ryan Barnes’ coaching debut.

Lions end Brahmas' Season

TOMBALL – The Hallettsville Brahmas fought a good fight in losing to the Franklin Eagles, 51-27, in a 3A, Division I bi-district game Thursday night.“Franklin was the number one team in the state and played like it,” Brahma head coach Levi Montgomery said.

As hard as they tried, the Hallettsville Brahmas could not overcome insurmountable odds in their game with Columbus.Hallettsville scored first in the initial quarter before the Cardinals went on to take a 35-21 victory over the Brahmas in a District 12-3A Division I game here Friday night.
