Moulton Park improvement updates

The Moulton City Council has been making some headway on their ongoing park improvement project.“We’ve accomplished the goals on what we wanted to do for the park,” Council member Adam Nieto said. “We re-did the pavilion area. We took down some dead trees and trimmed them.

The Moulton City Council approved a couple of grant resolutions at the July 8 meeting.“These resolutions are part of our Texas Water Development Board project for the wastewater plant,” City Administrator LuAnn Rogers said.

City Administrator LuAnn Rogers gave a report on ongoing projects at the Moulton City Council meeting on May 13.“The waterline replacement that we’ve been doing on County Road 291 is now complete,” Rogers said. “The Texas Water Development Board also approved our grant for wastewater improvements.

The Moulton City Council discussed code enforcement at the April 8 meeting.“It is spring and the grass is going to be growing,” City Administrator LuAnn Rogers said. “We discussed health and safety ordinance codes. That includes tall grass, junk, rubbish and junked vehicles.

City Attorney to resign; council discusses grant projects

The Moulton City Council discussed the resignation of City Attorney Eddie Escobar at the Nov. 12 meeting.“The City Attorney, Eddie Escobar, has been elected to a county office in Gonzales County,” City Administrator LuAnn Rogers said.
