Moulton Boys Golf took home third place at the Shiner St. Paul Golf Tournament on Monday.

The Kittens and Bobkatz track and field team competed in the Hallettsville Brahma Relays on Thursday with the Kittens placing top four.Varsity GirlsThe Kittens scored 69 points for fourth place.Mina Tinajero got seventh in the top athletes with 20 points and won the long jump.

Moulton softball: Kittens go 4-0 last week

The Moulton Kittens softball team swept a home double header against Weimar Junior Varsity March. 10 and defeated Bloomington and Schulenburg back-to-back Friday and Saturday.

Moulton track and field: Track and field teams go third, fourth at EB meet

The Moulton track and field teams each placed in the top four on Thursday in the East Bernard meet. Varsity Girls The Kittens scored 82 points for third place. Shot Put — 2nd, Audrey Swinford, 32-5. Discus — 1st, Swinford, 114-9. Triple Jump — 2nd, Ava Olivarez, 33-1; 5th, Lilliana Gomez, 28-3 ½.

Moulton softball: Kittens post 3-1 record at Schulenburg Tourney

The Kittens won three of four at the Schulenburg Tournament last week.Moulton 8, Luling 6With a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the third inning, the Moulton Kittens scored five runs and then held Luling to three runs in the top of the fourth in an 8-6 win on Thursday.

SEGUIN — The Moulton Bobkatz were not completely satisfied with their performance in the first-round 49-31 win against Round-Top Carmine.Before facing Knippa in the area round on Friday in Seguin, the Katz went to work to improve their  performance.

The Bobkatz outscored Nordheim 37-22 in the second half to pull away for a 78-59 win Feb. 3 at home.Moulton led 25-23 after one quarter and scored 16 of 30 points in the second frame.The Katz held a 17-13 advantage in the third stanza and finished up in the fourth quarter with a 20-9 run.
