The Lavaca County Republican Party Precinct 2 executive committee has nominated Chris Ulcak as its candidate for the Justice of the Peace position.Ulcak will be placed on the general election ballot in November as the Republican Party candidate to replace the deceased Travis Hill.

Kolkhorst to speak to local club

Due to the death of Lavaca County Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Travis Hill, the Lavaca County Republican Party is facing a very short deadline for placing a candidate on the November 3 general election ballot.

Where to vote

Republican Party voters will go to the polls Tuesday, May 28 to decide the party’s nominees for the Lavaca County Sheriff and the Texas State Representative for District 30.All 11 Lavaca County voting precincts will be open 60th-year reunion on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
