Sacred Heart Catholic High School held its graduation ceremonies Sunday afternoon, May 17 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hallettsville with 24 seniors receiving their diplomas.

SHCHS graduate ordained catholic priest

Caleb Krischke of the St. John area and a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic High School received his ordination as a Catholic priest this past Saturday, May 30.The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory with Victoria Diocese Bishop Brendan Cahill conducting the vows.
Pope Leo XIV appears on the balcony above Saint Peter’s Basilica Square when he was first introduced as the newly elected Pope. Millions watched this event on television and thousands attended in person on the evening he was elected, including Wayne and Lee Ann Freytag.
