The Lady Cardinals had another week in which they did not lose a set in wins over Bulverde Bracken Christian and Kerrville Our Lady of the Hills in district matches.

The St. Paul and Shiner cross-country teams gathered in Gonzales to compete in the Gonzales Invitational on Saturday. St. Paul Varsity Girls The Lady Cardinals scored 95 points for a fourth-place finish in the girls varsity race.

St. Paul Lady Cardinals hosted Pflugerville Concordia on Sept. 19 and was at Sacred Heart on Thursday, losing both contests. PC 3, St. Paul 0 Pflugerville Concordia’s offense was different and more potent than  St. Paul had faced in its first five district matches.

St. Paul had three backs each rush for over 100 yards as the Cardinals held off Boerne Geneva 49-43 Friday in Boerne. Nate Boedeker led with 193 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns.  Sam Perez rushed a dozen times for 126 yards and caught a 6-yard touchdown pass.
