FLATONIA —  The Shiner Lady Comanches had a big task in trying to defend Lady Bulldog Summer Sodek Jan. 2 in Flatonia.Sodek was  as advertised as she hit five triples and finished with 41 points in leading her team to a 67-35 win over the Lady Comanches.

FLATONIA — The first district game always seems to be crucial for teams.The Shiner Comanches made sure they got started on the right foot as they defeated Flatonia 64-46.

The St. Paul girls basketball team went 3-1 in the Kenedy Tournament last week prior to the holiday break.Harvest Christian Academy 84, St. Paul 35Edinburgh Harvest Christian Academy did not miss too many three-point baskets as they hit 16 in a 84-35 win over the Lady Cardinals on Friday afternoon.
