Shiner volleyball: Lady Braves 8th A volleyball wins Yoakum Tournament

The Shiner 8th A volleyball  team defeated Edna, St. Paul and Sacred Heart, earning first place in the Yoakum Tournament on Sept. 20.

Shiner cross country: Boys win district title

Both Shiner cross-country teams will advance to the regional meet after solid showings at the 28-2A meet Monday morning at Green-Dickson Park. The Shiner boys won the district championship.Varsity GirlsThe Lady Comanches placed third with 54 points.

St. Paul volleyball: St. Paul defeats SH, Faith Academy in district matches

Plays and points came from all over the floor in St. Paul’s 25-16, 25-13, 25-18 sweep of Sacred Heart Sept. 30 at home.“I was really pleased with the match today,” Lady Cardinals head coach Max Bergkamp said.
