Paisly Wallace had 20 assists and 13 digs, Nevaeh Jones had eight digs and Morgan Lenehan chipped in five blocks as Shiner fell to East Bernard on the road Sept. 17 in three close sets, 27-25, 25-20 and 25-18.

After two sets against San Marcos Hill Country, the Lady Cardinals had two wins.However, St. Paul dropped intensity or focus, losing the third set by 16 points before rebounding to take the fourth game to win 25-17, 25-17, 9-25, 25-22. Sept. 17 at home.

St. Paul football: SP goes to 2-2 with win vs Louise

The St. Paul football team scored 13 points in each of the second and third quarters to rally to beat Louise 26-12 Friday in Louise. The win improved the Cardinals to 2-2 on the season and they will return to the Houston area as they take on Katy St. John XIII.
