Moulton Track and FIeld: Colchado places third in the two mile at state

    The Moulton Bob Kittens track team had two athletes in three events last Saturday at the state track meet in Austin, bringing home one medal.
    Estefania Colchado earned the Bronze in the 3,200-meter run with a final time of 12 minutes, 19.28 seconds and this was also a personal record for her. She had a time of 2:48.84 at the 800-meter split, was at 4:20.16 at 1200 and was at the mile at 5:52.29.
    Colchado was at a mile and half at 9:13.66, finished 2800 at the 10:53.18 and did her last 400 in 1:26.11.She finished the 1600 with a time of 5:51.65 for seventh place. Colachado had a 400 split of 1:20.42 and a mark of 2:53.43 at the halfway point, surpassed the 1200 mark at 4:23.31 and finished the last 400 in 1:28.34.
