Shiner 10, Big Sandy 0: Peterson, Comanches shut down Big Sandy in area-round contest

Ryan Peterson struck out 12 batters, pitched a no-hitter with just one walk in Shiner’s 10-0 win over Big Sandy Friday evening in a single-game area round series at Waller High School.
Shiner scored five runs in the first inning and led 6-0 after three innings.
The Comanches drove in one run in the fourth and scored three in the fifth to end the game.
Bryce Nerada was the top hitter with two hits and two RBI. Peterson got a triple, scored two runs, had an RBI and stole two bases.
