    A pair of Shiner Lady Comanche softball players received special awards in the 29-2A All-District Team.
    Freshman infielder Brinley Ramirez was named Newcomer of the Year; sophomore pitcher/catcher/infielder Paeden Vincik was selected as Utility Player of the Year.

    Selected for the Second Team is sophomore infielder Rylee Vancura, junior outfielder Riley Rainosek and freshman infielder Kailey Boedeker.
    Junior Haley Patek, freshmen Alaya Boedeker and Dyllan Chrismon received Honorable Mention.
    Players making Academic All-District is Rainosek, Patek, Vincik, Vancura, Aimee Mitchon, Avery Boedeker, Sevcik, Olivas, Ramirez, Kailey Boedeker, Keira Roberts, Alaya Boedeker, Chrismon and Mackenzie Peebles.
    The Lady Comanches finished third place in district and were regional quarterfinalists.
