Barbara Ann Riemenschneider

Barbara Ann Riemenschneider, age 86 of Wincrest, passed away July 14.

She was born Aug. 24, 1935 in Yoakum to Albert Gee and Dorothy (Granberry) Gee.

She was a secretary and a homemaker. She was a 1953 graduate of Yoakum High School. On Aug. 22, 1954 she married Robert Riemenschneider. They lived in various towns while he worked in law enforcement.

Survivors include her son, Kyle Riemenschneider and wife Donna; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Johnson, Jennifer Richardson, and Ethel Gee; and brother, Robert Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Riemenschneider; and son, Robert Riemenschneider, Jr.

A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. with funeral service at 2 p.m. on July 23 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Pastor Warren Hornung officiating. The burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Yoakum United Methodist Church.
