Hallettsville artists grab attention at Ruidoso Art Festival

Considering the Ruidoso Art Festival attracts talent, collectors and galleries from not just across the country but from points all over the globe as well, to have one artist Hallettsville much less three as part of this event is extraordinary.  Roy Cavaretta with Gravel Road Arts, who claimed first place winnings in mixed media show with his gourd creations shown at the New Mexico show, Michael Moore of Hot Glass Works with second-place winnings for his unique glass creations, and Cherri Fryer of FryerWorks Handmade Pottery, who brings home third place winnings from the 2022 pottery show. Way to represent your hometown! It’s a testament to the outstanding array of talent that Hallettsville has always had the good fortune to boast. Just in case you might’ve missed it, Fryer was our featured artist in our 2022 Discover Lavaca County magazine, published just last month.
