Luella Hilda Dvorak
Luella Hilda Dvorak, age 83, passed away Aug. 8.
She was born Feb. 7, 1939 in Moulton to Fred and Lula Meyer Fishbeck.
She graduated from Huth Memorial School of Nursing and became a nurse. She enjoyed traveling, Bingo, crossword puzzles, polka music, taking country rides, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Joan Marie Smith (Scott) and Gayle Ann Cowan; sons, Ray Alan Simecek (Debbie), Michael Eugene Dvorak (Renee), and Mark Alan Simecek (Missy); 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lanell Renken (Bill), Eunice Schumann (Raymond), Bernice Chumchal (Victor), and Carolyn Schlamb (David); brothers, Elroy Fishbeck, Johnny Fishbeck (Dorothy), Freddie Fishbeck, (Virginia) and William Fishbeck (Gail).
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Dvorak; daughter, Shirley Faye Simecek Kent; and granddaughter, Christine Marjorie Smith.
A visitation was held Aug. 12 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.
A funeral was held Aug. 13 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor Alsen Wenzel officiating. The burial was at Hebron Cemetery.
The pallbearers included Nicholas Smith, Joshua Simecek, Christopher Noyce, Jacob Cowan, Griffin Cook, Troy Fishbeck, Vincent Chumchal, and Wayne Renken.
Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Hebron Cemetery Association.
