St. Paul Football: Cards rally for first win of season.

Zane Barta rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns to lead St. Paul to a comeback 38-35 win at San Antonio TMI on Friday.
TMI was ahead 35-14 at halftime, St Paul outscored TMI 16-0 in the third and then scored early in the fourth quarter for the win.
TMI took a 7-0 lead in the first frame with 23-yard pass from Greyson Donnell to Luke Valdez; the Cardinals answered with a 26-yard run by Zane Barta and got the two-point conversion for an 8-7 lead.
In the last few minutes of the quarter, Donnell had touchdown passes of 33 and 9 yards to Jaylen Gardner for a 21-8 lead. They extended their lead to 28-8 early in the second with a 7-yard pass from Donnell to Gardner. Barta had a 2-yard run with 4:25 left in the half to get the Cardinals within 28-14. TMI got a 29-yard pass from Donnell to Valdez for a 35-14 halftime lead.
Nate Boedeker started the rally with a 3-yard run at 7:55 left in the third quarter and Barta scored on the two-point run.
Brayden Slaughter had a 2-yard run with five minutes left in the third and Boedeker had the two-point conversion run.
Barta had the game-winning score with 11:50 left in the game and Slaughter put St. Paul up by three with his two-point conversion run.
