    The Shiner junior varsity gold won the Flatonia Tournament last week with four wins.
    Shiner 2, Rice 0
    Shiner swept Rice 25-10, 25-19 on Thursday.
    Kailey Boedeker had four assists, one ace, one kill; Morgan Lenehan had four kills, one block; Jamaya Wright added four kills, two aces; Jenna Pohler had one dig; Jo Caka had one dig; Lauren Springfield produced two aces, one kill, one dig; Jade Hemphill had one ace, one dig; Erin Hajek had four aces, four assists; Addy Siegel had one block; Kylynn Ramirez totaled five digs, two aces, one kill.
    Shiner 2, Smithville 1
    The Lady Comanches won against Smithville  25-15, 19-25, 15-8 in their second match on Thursday.
    Boedeker had nine kills, six assists; Lenehan had one kill, one block; Wright finished with four kills, one ace, one assist, one dig; Springfield registered four aces, one kill, one dig; Hemphill had one dig; Hajek had nine assists, three kills, one dig; Siegel recorded 10 digs, two kills; Ramirez contributed seven digs, three aces, one assist.
    Shiner 2, Sacred Heart 1
    Shiner opened action on Saturday with a 25-18, 17-25, 15-10 victory over Sacred Heart.
    Boedeker had five assists, five kills, five digs, one ace; Lenehan tallied nine kills, two blocks, one assist, one dig; Wright produced three digs, two kills, one ace, one block; Springfield had two kills, one dig; Hemphill chipped in three digs; Hajek had seven assists, six kills, three digs, one ace; Siegel had 10 digs, three kills, two assists, one ace; Ramirez added 17 digs, two aces, two assists, one kill.

    Shiner played Smithville for the second time, winning in two games 25-10, 25-19 to earn the championship.
    Boedeker had nine assists, three digs, two kills, one ace, one block; Lenehan had six kills, two digs, one block; Wright booked eight kills, four blocks, four digs; Springfield had one kill, one dig; Hemphill recorded eight digs; Hajek had nine assists, eight kills, two digs, one ace; Siegel had 16 digs, two kills, two blocks, one ace; Ramirez got 24 digs, three aces.
