Shiner volleyball: Lady Comanches JV Purple have two wins on the season

Lady Comanches junior varsity purple team has played several matches since the beginning of the season.  They have victories over Luling (25-10, 25-18) and Rice (25-12, 25-16) during the Flatonia Tournament, just missing a medal after losing a consolation match with Sacred Heart 21-25, 16-25.    Other losses during the season include Yoakum, Gonzales, Edna, St Paul and Nixon Smiley.  The overall record stands at 2-8 as of Sept. 7.
