Bettye Ann Bujnoch

Bettye Ann Bujnoch,  68, of Hallettsville, completed her work here on earth, Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022.

 She was born Feb.  8, 1954, in Hallettsville to Carl and Ira Lee (Fitch) McElroy. 

She graduated from Hallettsville High School and attended Sam Houston State University.  

Bettye was a loan officer at Sacred Heart Federal Credit Union for 28 years where she took great pride in helping people. 

She was a loving mother, grandmother, co-worker, and friend with the biggest heart.  Family and friends were always most important to her, and she would go out of her way to do anything she could for them. 

 She loved going to all extracurricular activities that her grandkids were involved in as well as visiting with extended family and friends anytime she could.  She enjoyed what she did and loved her work family immensely. 

Bettye is survived by her husband of 49 years, Eugene J. Bujnoch, son, Jeff Bujnoch, and wife, Shelley of New Braunfels; daughter, Tamara Siegel and husband, Benji of Moulton, six grandchildren, Paisley and Reese Bujnoch, Kacie, Hannah, Tyler and Abigail Siegel.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation began at 5 p.m. and Rosary was recited at 6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 9 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. 

Memorial Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 10 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. James Dvorak officiating.  

A private burial will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of  donor’s choice.

Arrangements were entrusted to Thiele Cooper Funeral Home in Yoakum.
