    The Shiner Lady Comanches volleyball team came up just a tad short at Fayetteville on Tuesday with the Lady Lions taking a 25-15, 25-22, 25-15 win.
    For Shiner, Meghan Blaschke had 11 assists, three digs, two aces; Callie Sevcik contributed five digs; Julie Ivy got three kills, two digs, one block; Rylee Vancura produced 13 digs, seven kills, three assists; Chelsea Whiddon had 10 digs, two kills, two blocks; Aimee Mitchon added four digs, two aces, one kill, one block; Avery Boedeker had one kill; Brooke Palmer booked three digs; Charlotte Grosenbacher recorded four digs; Chesney Machacek tallied two blocks, one dig; Megan Winkenwerder had five digs, one ace; Paeden Vincik had two kills and Riley Rainosek finished with one dig.
