Yoakum volleyball: Lady Bulldogs pull down Rice Consolidated

The Lady Bulldogs volleyball team dominated Rice 25-12, 25-13, 25-11 Sept. 20 in Rice.
Addison Pekar had eight kills, one ace, one dig, one block; Macie Blakeney added 26 assists, four digs, two kills, two aces; Bri Lopez had three digs; Brooke Prasek had one block assist; Deazia Rios had five digs; Destiny Rios chipped in eight digs, seven kills; Jayana Phillips had 14 kills, 14 digs; Leah Muenich had three digs; Madison Gonzales had two digs; Olivia Fojt had six digs, five aces; Sam Adamek got two kills, two blocks; Macie Williams finished with two aces, one kill, one block.
Subvarsity
Yoakum took the junior varsity match 25-17, 25-18 and won the freshman match 25-16, 25-10.
