Ervin Charles Neskora
Ervin Charles Neskora, 96, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022.
Ervin was born in Moravia, to Charles Neskora and Julie Neskora. He was baptized at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia, and attended school at Moravia.
Ervin served his country in World War II.
He married his bride of 67 years, Bernice (Winkler) Neskora (1932-2019) on April 19, 1952. Ervin has lived his entire life here in Moravia.
After his marriage to Bernice, they owned and operated a dairy for over 50 years. Ervin and Bernice were active members of the Moravia Church and instrumental in the success of the Annual Church Picnic.
Along with the dairy, they raised five boys. Ervin, Jr. (wife, Karen) of Schulenburg; Joseph (wife, Debra)of Moulton: James “Nick” (wife, Janelle) of Moulton; Kenneth (wife, Pauline) of Moulton and Thomas (wife, Faith) of Moulton. Together they have 16 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Services are set for Friday, Nov. 11 at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m.; Rosary will be recited at 9:39 a.m. and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
