Moulton boys basketball: Katz rout Faith Academy to start season

The Moulton Bobkatz started the 2022-23 season off with a 89-33 win over Faith Academy with five players scoring in double digits.
Trent Mesisetschleager led with 16 points, Jonathon Lugo sank 13 points, Seth Lopez had 12 points on four triples; Collin Moeller hit a three and scored 11; Edgar Mendiola finished with 10 points and one triple.
The Katz took a 32-4 lead after the first quarter and outscored Faith Academy 23-6 in the second for a 55-10 halftime advantage.
Moulton went on a 28-15 run in the third and Faith Academy outscored the Katz 8-6 in the final frame.
