Shiner girls basketball: Lady Comanches win Karnes City Tournament

    The Lady Comanches went 4-0 last week in the Karnes City Tournament to bring home the championship.
    Morgan Lenehan was named the Tournament MVP while Rylee Vancura, Callie Sevcik and Brooke Palmer were named to the All-Tournament Team.
    Shiner started with a 46-26 win over Mathis on Thursday and routed Karnes City junior varsity 50-14 also on Thursday.
    On Friday, the Lady Comamches defeated Stockdale 51-19 and won on Saturday in the Championship game against Nixon-Smiley 35-24.
