Lorene Windham

Lorene Windham, 89, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Cypress. She had been recently diagnosed with cancer.

Visitation began at 5 p.m. and continued until 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10 at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home in Houston.

Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Houston.

A committal service followed at 1 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.

Lorene lived in Houston for 74 years and remained in her home in Oak Forest until her diagnosis two months ago. She loved talking on the phone, family gatherings, good food, Facebook, casinos and scratch offs.

She leaves behind her daughter, Gaye Barclay and husband, Neal; grandchildren, Nikki and Scott Payne, Chris and Kristi Barclay, and great-grandchildren, Emma Payne, Charlee Payne, Remington Payne, Parker Payne, Dalton Barclay and Landon Barclay.
