Susan Ulcak

Susan Ann Ulcak, 67, of Shiner, joined her heavenly family Thursday, February 9, 2023.

She was born November 11, 1955 in Shiner, to William and Olivia (Glatzert) Noack.

She was a lifetime member of UDML Lutheran Church in Shiner, was a Sunday School teacher, and her faith carried her through the most difficult times of illness. She married her beloved Edwin Ulcak 49 years ago and they were blessed with daughters, Shana and Kim and son Dustin. She worked at Kaspar Wire Works for 30 plus years as a silk-screener. She was very artistic and loved to paint, do crafts, and had a green thumb that could grow anything. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed always.

Survivors are her husband, Edwin Ulcak of Shiner; daughters, Shana Ulcak of Hallettsville, and Kim Moore and husband Max of Shiner; son, Dustin Ulcak and wife Amanda of Shiner; 8 grandchildren, Collin Pustka, Amber Pustka, Atlanta Moore, Max Moore, Cheyenne Moore, Raleigh Moore, Addison Ulcak and William Ulcak; sisters, Ruby Kelley (Mark) of Gonzales and Angie Pekar of Shiner.

Preceded in death by her parents; sister Marion Zumwalt; and brother, Bill Noack.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home, Yoakum.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 16 at United Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church, with Pastor Chris Heinhold officiating.

Burial will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given to Shiner Lutheran Church.
